Quinn's Green Power, a company specializing in residential and commercial Photovoltaic Solar Installations, was started in 2010 by Kevin P. Quinn. Kevin is a licensed electrician with over 30 years of experience who has always had a passion for solar energy. Upon his retirement from the Gloversville Fire Department in 2009, he decided to pursue his dream and enrolled in a photovoltaic course at HVCC. After completion of the course, he began working for its instructor Kevin Rose, who was the owner and CEO of Renewable Power Systems. Kevin has installed over 200 systems since 2009 including a 50 Kilowatt System on the Houston Field House at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy. Kevin installed a 5 Kilowatt system on his residence in Johnstown that he is happy to show to anyone interested in solar power.
